He also managed corporate sponsorships, including the largest Spring Break event in the past 10 years, the multi-branded Route 2003 driving tour, the highly acclaimed Jim Henson's Muppets/Plymouth National Safety Tour, music concerts, rodeos, action sports programs (including the Winter Olympics), and multicultural initiatives throughout the United States.

In 2003, Lou was honored by Event Marketer Magazine as a member of the Event Marketing Dream Team. Before his career as an event marketer, Lou owned and operated a successful restaurant (featured in Newsweek magazine) and renovated and operated a historical landmark theatre. He also serves as assistant coach for a nationally recognized high school football program. Lou lives in Rochester Hills, Michigan with his wife, Christine, and his children, Antonette, Christopher and Amanda.
